Audi A1 Attracted

Audi presents the new "Attracted", a special edition for its models Audi A1 and A1 Sportback incorporating new finishing details and a complete multimedia device. The price varies between 16,400 and € 19,050, depending on the engine, and can include the packages Kult, Style Connect with no additional cost.

This special series is available with two engines: the 1.2 TFSI 86 hp and 1.6 TDI 90 hp, the latter with manual or automatic S tronic gear box.

A strong point of the Audi A1 Attracted is the equipment that includes leather, multifunction steering wheel, alloy wheels and 16-inch and aluminum applications in the interior. Items that will undoubtedly enhance the sportiness of the Audi A1.

CHRISTMAS FUDGE

Christmas is almost here and everyone I know is running around looking for that last minute mini-gift for the mailman, a teacher, the newspaper boy or even the UPS man!!

This fudge recipe is the perfect answer!! Not only is it quick and easy to make, but it tastes great and I love that it can be made way ahead of schedule.

4 cups white sugar
1 twelve ounce can of evaporated milk
8 ounces of real butter (no margarine or spreads)
2 cups milk chocolate chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 TABLESPOON vanilla
chopped nuts if desired (we like honey roasted peanuts)

In a heavy bottomed sauce pan, mix the white sugar and evaporated milk; bring it to a boil over medium high heat.  Once it is at a full rolling boil (one that you can not stir down), turn the heat down to medium and boil for 6½ minutes (stirring CONSTANTLY). I stir with a wooden spatula that has a square end and I stir in a figure 8 (the flat blade of the spoon really scrapes the  bottom of the pan well).

After 6½ minutes at a full rolling boil, remove the pan from the heat and add the butter, a TABLESPOON of vanilla and all of the chocolate.

At first the butter will sort of stay separate from everything, but if you use a whisk, it will incorporate quickly. When it's all smooth, add the nuts if you are using them (as many as you like).

Pour into a FOIL LINED 9" x 13" pan and cool overnight in the fridge. If you are using these cute little tin foil stars (instead of the 9" x 13" pan), you can just wrap them in clear cellophane bag (after they are chilled) and tie it up with a bright Christmas bow!!

NOTE: You can make this with any flavor chocolate chips you like.
I've tried them all and the only one I DON'T recommend is using ALL semi-sweet. The three chocolate blend listed above results in a wonderful flavor (you won't taste the white chocolate, but it adds a lot to the final taste).

Note: Make sure you use a good quality butter, not a soft spread butter or a diet butter and definitely no margarine.

APPLE PIE JAM

This jam is the perfect topping for just about anything; it is very versatile and delicious.

Apple pie jam is very economical  to make and it is just unique enough that it makes a great gift for co-workers, church friends, babysitters, etc. (any time you need a small gift from the heart for friend).

 

It really does taste just like an apple pie!!

APPLE PIE JAM

6 cups diced granny smith apples (6 or 7 apples)

1/2 cup apple juice  (you can use water in a pinch)

1/2 teaspoon butter

3 cups granulated sugar

2 cups brown sugar

3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (freshly ground is best)

(1) small box (1¾ oz.) Sure-Jell Premium powdered pectin

Dice the apples, then put them in the food processor for just a (very) few pulses. You don't want the pieces too small.

Cook the apples, apple juice and butter (in a large heavy pot with tall sides) over low heat until the apples are soft but not mushy.

Stir in powdered pectin and bring to a full rolling boil (one that does not stop boiling when you stir it); stir constantly.

When it comes to a full rolling boil, add the sugars, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir well and bring back to another full rolling boil.  Keep it at a full rolling boil (while stirring) for exactly one minute, no longer.

Remove from heat and skim off any foam from the surface of the jam(if there is any). Pour the jam into HOT clean jars, leaving 1/4" head space. Wipe the rims of the jars with a CLEAN wet cloth and put on the two piece lids (hand tighten). 

Process in a hot water bath:  half pints for 10 minutes; pints for 15 minutes.  This recipe makes (7) half pint jars.

 

NOTE: As (with a lot of jams that have chunks of fruit), if you aren't careful, the fruit will "float" in the jar and it won't be evenly distributed throughout the jam. It doesn't change the taste at all, but it isn't "picture perfect" for gift giving either.

To avoid that:  After you take the cooked jam off of the heat for the last time, Sit it on a towel or a pot holder so that the pan stays as hot as possible. Let  the hot jam sit in the hot p an for five minutes before you put it in the HOT jars. Stir the hot jam every 60 seconds or so with a CLEAN spoon. After the five minutes is up, put the jam in the hot jars and proceed with the same directions.  This little trick will stop the fruit bits from floating to the top.

Mercedes Citan

The new Mercedes Citan is a commercial van, which is a collaborative effort between Mercedes and Renault. This model is proposed as a solution for professional urban delivery due to their capability up to 3.8 m³ a load capacity of 800 kg and its low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Specifically, the version Citan BleuEFFICIENCY with a consumption of only 4.3 litres/100 km.

We will have three options when purchasing this Van - Length -3.94, 4.32 or 4.71 meters and body - Box. Joint and Combined.

Three diesel engines are also available in this Mercedes model : 75 CDI, 90 CDI and 110 CDI. The gas block is a 1.2-liter 114 hp. We may further choose between a gearbox of five or six relationships.

Origami Heart Advent Calendar

The New Finnish Maternity Package has a new design called "Sukupuu" = "Family Tree".

The box itself is very handy - you can use
it as a baby crib or as an extention to your

family bed, since you can fold one side down.




This year it has a lot of turqoise color, which is nice! One of my favorite colors.

Dacia renews cars

Dacia, the "low cost" brand of the Renault group whose success is based on the reliability of their cars, in their functionality and, above all, in its aggressive pricing campaign suddenly renews half of its range, upgrading their models Logan , Sandero and Sandero Stepway, which at the same price as before, but now has a more current equipment.

To choose the options added to their cars, Dacia consulted its customers, while maintaining a clear and unchanging philosophy of incorporating not "useless" any equipment. So there is room for the strictly necessary.

Inside we have more space for objects, electrohydraulic steering system with isofix technology and multimedia navigation, radio, phone and music by bluetooth.

The engine range is the same, but adds an interesting TCe three-cylinder engine with 90 hp that emits just 116 g / km of CO2, consumes 5.0 liters per 100 km,and has a torque of 135 Nm

Aloha, it's going to be a merry Christmas! DIY wreath

 








I found a bunch of these origami-papers from my deskdraw and decided to make my first christmas decorations this year, welcoming wreath to our door. Since it's the darkest time in Finland, I wanted to have a little bit sunshine and hawaii-wibes in it. Who said all the things in christmas should be red, gold, silver, white and dark green?

Lamborghini Aventador Roadster

Lamborghini unveiled its new bull: the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster, a beast with 700 hp.

To see it, we will have to wait until November 28, the day that begins the Auto Show in Los Angeles. LA was the site chosen by Lamborghini to introduce this new car with a removable roof and a design even more angular than his brother coupe that certainly will not leave anyone indifferent.

As part of this new design, a kind of backbone of the engine cover separates the two windows hexagonal surprising that allow to see the V12, in addition to draining of rainwater and to cool the engine. Under it, a 6.5-liter V12-cylinder engine  that can generate a power of 700 hp at 8250 rpm, power is delivered through a Haldex AWD and managed by the seven-speed automatic transmission ISR.

Thanks to this impressive engine, the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster boasts spectacular performances: acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in just three seconds and can reach a top speed of 350 km / h. Consumption does not vary with respect to the closed version, reaching 16 km l/100 combined cycle, 24.7 l/100 km in the city and 10.7 l/100 km in the extra urban. The fuel tank holds 90 liters and CO2 emissions are limited to 370 g / km.

Nissan presents GT-R 2013

Nissan has just announced the release of Nissan GT-R Model Year 2013 proposal that is expected to reach authorized dealers of the brand in Japan as early as next November 19.

According advances the Japanese brand, the Nissan GT-R presents improvements in all aspects, aiming to better performance and higher efficiency, together with a wider customization.


The developments include better engine response in both the intermediate speed range as in the upper, upper body rigidity and alterations in the shock absorbers specifications , springs and front fin. As a result, Nissan ensures hat the overall vehicle performance improved dramatically, stability at high speeds became greater and driving quality gained in sophistication.

Like the previous evolutions, the MY2013 GT-R will also be available in North America and Europe from January 2013.

The electricity connection to the unit was disconnected 15 years ago by the Liberty plaza management cooperation without any prior notice.

During this period we made many attempts to negotiate with the officers of the Liberty Plaza management cooperation to reach a settlement but their rigid attitude in addressing this issue resulted us a loss of income which we could have generated from the shop for past 8 years.

Although that we were unable to carry out any operations in this unit the management corporation have continued to charge the member contribution added with compound interest making it completely an impossible task to settle the payments without any income.

I have  offered similar settlement proposals earlier for which no positive response was received and should they were considered the both parties would have benefited equally.

I am extremely thankful to the present management officers for the assistance and understanding extended in addressing this issue.
