What is Robots.txt?
It just a few line code.It is saved on Blog or website server which instruct the crawlers how to index and crawl your Blog in Search Engine Results.This commands are written in different coding which is only for search engines crawlers. Always remember that search crawler the Robots.txt file before Crwaling any page.
Steps to add Robots.txt File in Blogger?
- Go to Blogger Dashboard >> Settings >> Search Preferences
- After click on Search preference >> Custom Robots.txt >> Edit >> Yes
- Paste the Below Code in box
User-agent: Mediapartners-Google
User-agent: *
Disallow: /search?q=*
Disallow: /*?updated-max=*
Allow: /
Sitemap: http://www.yourdmomain.com/feeds/posts/default?orderby=updated
- Replace red Highlighted Text with your Blog or website address
How to check your Robots.txt File?
You can check your Robots.txt File by following below link
